Smiltene Gymnasium, in cooperation with Auce Secondary school and Ogre Internet Centre, organizes an international ICT conference and poster event LatSTE`2005.

Theme of the event: „ICT in the classroom of the future”.

Audience: teachers, education specialists, students, parents, representatives of Ministries and self-governments, students, and other interested.

The event will take place in Smiltene Gymnasium, Dakteru Street 27, Smiltene on October 27-28.

Acknowledged international experts will share their experience on:

• Aspects of ICT in the learning process in Belgium, the Netherlands, Estonia, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Spain, Germany;
• International ICT projects and possibilities to take part in them;
• Electronical learning environments and distance learning;
• Circulation of e-documents;
• Innovative ideas for knowledge society.

The event is supported by Smiltene Town Council, LIIS Project and Microsoft Latvia.
